Encryption Reporter: It is still uncertain whether the GENIUS bill will be amended before the final vote.
According to reports from Mars Finance, encryption journalist Eleanor Terrett pointed out that the U.S. Senate Banking Committee is reportedly planning a comprehensive hearing on market structure next week. House leaders hope to submit the GENIUS Act and CLARITY Act for a vote as early as next week, but it is still uncertain whether the GENIUS Act will be amended before the final vote or if it will continue to be advanced according to the proposals received by the Senate. If both bills are passed, the GENIUS Act will be submitted directly to Trump, while the CLARITY Act will be submitted to the Senate.
