The DeFi platform Credix was attacked, resulting in losses of approximately $4.5 million.
According to BlockBeats news, on August 4, it was reported by the Shield that the administrator account address of the DeFi platform Credix was attacked. This account has multiple key permissions, including: · POOLADMIN (Pool Administrator) · BRIDGE (Cross-chain Bridge Permission) · ASSETLISTINGADMIN (Asset Listing Administrator) · EMERGENCYADMIN (Emergency Administrator) · RISKADMIN (Risk Control Administrator) The attacker exploited the BRIDGE permission to steal or borrow assets from the pool, with an estimated loss of about 4.5 million USD. This also included the minting of acUSDC tokens (Credix Market Sonic USDC) which were counterfeit (not backed by real assets).
