Central Bank Governor Pan Gongsheng: Technologies such as Blockchain are driving innovation in Digital Money and cross-border payments.
Gate News bot news, during the 2025 Lujiazui Forum, the Governor of the People's Bank of China, Pan Gongsheng, delivered a speech outlining the application of new technologies in the field of cross-border payments. He pointed out that new technologies such as Blockchain and Distributed Ledger are driving the development of Central Bank Digital Currency and stablecoins, which are reshaping the traditional payment system from the ground up and shortening the cross-border payment chain.
